the workshop
the journey workshop is a non traditional workshop for creatives. the concept was born from the idea that creatives are different, and learn differently than others. many of us experience interest-based focus and have difficulty sitting down and listening to A TYPICAL FORM OF EDUCATION. JOURNEY IS OUR ANSWER TO THAT!
the journey workshop is based around participants’ own UNIQUE TALENTS and learning in a one-to-one setting with hosts while working on projects OR IDEAS THEY FIND INSPIRING. this year’s focus will be CREATIVITY IN A TIME OF OVER-ABUNDANCE.
the journey workshop is a complete experience from arrival to departure where everything is included.
we have a gorgeous stone lodge in the deep heart of scotland. exclusively available to only us. for our time together.
all food is provided for you and on arrival day we will cook you a several course welcome dinner.
we add adventures based around your wishes and goals for the trip as well,
before beginning, we send out a letter collecting everyone’s ideal projects, or what they’d like to work on, and base the full experience around our intimate interactions together. perhaps we go foraging for truffles, or visit the beautiful lochs and forests nearby, or spend time searching, shooting and enjoying the atmosphere and food of local Scottish villages.
The setting is intimate, with a max of 14 of us, including our 4 hosts.

AccomModation
In our best efforts as always to keep you comfortable as well as inspired, we found an incredible stone lodge on the edge of a forest in the heart of scotland. it has many rooms, most of which are shared space. food, meals and snacks, along with drinks are all provided for the duration of your stay, we will cater to any requirement
additional grocery shopping can be done as well in town should you need any other rations.
unlike most workshops, there is no set itinerary as we value the importance of conversation and organic teaching. should at anytime you feel just like a lie down in your room, or a spontaneous trip into town,
you are fully free and encouraged to do just that.
PRICE AND RESERVATION

Tickets start at 4,000 USD and include everything you could need during this stay.
there are only very few spots available so space is limited purposefully to create a unique and intimate atmosphere between the attendants as well as the hosts. Please don’t hesitate to request any more information on pricing!

a 4 day, 3 night artist hosted event, where you’ll learn about many things from art theory to cooking, with a heavy focus on photography, videography and portfolio building. we will be shooting during our time here.
ROOM and board are provided for the duration of the trip which is 3 nights and 4 days, arriving on the afternoon/evening of the 10th, and departing on the afternoon/evening of the 13th of October, 2022. Meals, wine, snacks are included.
ROOMS: We have always been a shared artistic space where people share beds and rooms at times, should you request your own room/bed please let us know and we will work to accomodate! -

reservations require a 1,000 USD or 2,500 DEPOSIT, depending on your preference.
Final remainder amount is due August 10th.
PLEASE NOTE, due to scheduling importance, if final payment is not remitted by August 10th your deposit will be forfeit and your reservation will be cancelled.

Olivia is a photographer, she shoots for books, films and magazines. she also creates food-oriented adventures in nature, highlighting wild food. her passion for food, art, travel and photography are often combined in her work.

Linda is a photographer, videographer, baker and author. Her work is universally known for its rich and moody themes with splashes of vibrancy. Her work is timeless as it is innovative, her passion for community and her pup are immediately known and seen in her work.

NOTE: Elle Will be in attendance, however she will be quite busy being a loving mother to her two children during the time, and as such will not be listed as a “HOST” in the 2023 event.
Elle-May is a photographer, fashion designer, and cinematographer. her work is revered around the world for its soft and graceful approach. artistically executed, she shares in the raw moments of life with a focus on genuine inspiration. -
Christian is a photographer, designer, author and artist. His work is known around the world for its gritty and honest approach to life. with a focus on traditionalism, his work spans hundreds of projects and is reflected in a large body of work. his interest is in his family, storytelling, and community.
